固定式栓抜き [編集]
旧型の客車に設けられた固定式栓抜き（大井川鐵道スハフ42形、2007年8月）

国鉄時代の横座席型車輌には、窓の下の小さなテーブルに栓抜きが常備されているものが多かった。逆ユの字型の金具であり、金具に王冠を引っ掛けてこじると簡単に外すことができた。この栓抜き金具は、現在ではほとんど取り外されている。

小田急ロマンスカーのSSE、NSE、LSE、HiSEや西武鉄道4000系には座席の壁面テーブルの下に栓抜きが設けられている。特にHiSEや西武4000系は昭和末期～平成初期に作られた車両ではあるが珍しく栓抜きが設けられている。

瓶入り清涼飲料水の自動販売機には筐体前面に固定式の栓抜きを備えていた。開栓する際に落下する王冠を受け止める回収箱がついたものも多い。
